The Centre of Industrial Relations and Negotiations (CIRN) was founded in 2003 by Professor Andreas Nikolopoulos, with the financial support of the Greek Ministry of Education, through the EPEA Ε K Programme.
The aim of the Centre is the study of Industrial Relations, of Conflict Management and of Negotiations, mainly in the level of the enterprise. Moreover, it aims at the creation of a uniform culture for the treatment of the above issues. Research is being concentrated along the following axes:
- Industrial Relations
- Conflict Management and Negotiations
- The influence of the European Union in all of the above issues
- Labour Law
- Labour Economics
The Centre of Industrial Relations and Negotiations is part of the Department of Business Administration of the Athens University of Economics and Business.
